The biggest lie they sell you is: "Your content will grow when you stop selling and start sharing your unique perspective."
Don't fall for it. Most people aren't looking for something truly unique. They're looking to feel understood, to find others like themselves, to follow trends, and to replicate what already works.
People tend to reject what is different, even if they claim to admire it. They prefer what is familiar, what everyone approves of, what they have seen a thousand times before. That's why so many people end up acting like clones of each other.
It's like when the traffic light is red and someone crosses anyway: immediately several people follow without thinking for themselves. Most people don't like to question or decide for themselves; they simply follow the crowd.
And while everyone marches on, looking at each other, the only thing dies in silence, drowned by the need to belong.
And if you don't believe me, look around you.
Or better yet... look in the mirror. Do you really have a mind of your own, or are you just another clone trying to fit in?
They call it freedom, yet all think the same.
Different faces, but one single frame.
They fear the strange, they follow the crowd.
No minds of their own, just copies aloud.
